ALEPH Sophotect

Another finished work, this time for the sci-fi tabletop skirmish game Infinity.
This is a Sophotect of the ALEPH faction.

Painted in a roughly 5 1/2 hours long single session, the miniature is a pewter cast on a resin scenic base by Micro Art Studios.

Enjoy :D

Lich Lord Venethrax

Now comes the turn of a Cryx warcaster.
Had this primed model around for a while, gathering dust because I never got to play him in games, but I picked him up the other day to try out a new painting technique.
He was completed surprisingly fast, for my standards: just under 8 hours total, with most of the model's body and cloth roughly completed in a single 4-hour session. The rest was basing and correcting minor details.

Comments and critique are welcome, as always.
Enjoy :D

Misaki, Mistress of the Ten Thunders

Guilty!
I got sidetracked into painting some Malifaux miniatures.
It was hard to say no, to be honest, because I fell in love with the looks and design of the Ten Thunders the moment I saw them, and the few games I played with them were a blast.
The game itself is actually tons of fun, and it doesn't take up a whole day for a change; most games are played in less than an hour once you get all the rules straight.

Anyways, here's Misaki and her totem Shang.
Enjoy and let me know what you think :D

Work in Progress: Alice from Queen's Gate

Just so you know what's in store for you next :D
I've been working on this on and off for the past few weeks.
I've tried adapting Valloejo Game Colors for use with the airbrush, but they don't seem to work very well with garage kit primers: some spots keep flaking off, which is very annoying considering I have to work with masking tape a lot, and it's not pleasante when you have patches of skin coming off every time you remove the tape after a paint layer.

I've used chalk powder to shade the hair, let me know what you think.
