Every now and then I just have to find a slot to fit in some Warmachine models for my Cryx army.
The Combine is a group of Iron Liches who work as attachment and support for the Warcasters.
Admonia, the one on the left can upkeep a spell for free while in the Warcaster's control range while Tremulus, the guy on the right can force a friendly or enemy unit to re-roll dice once. The one in the middle is called Maelovus and is the unit leader; he used to have an ability called Dark Industry, which allowed the Coven to rebuild a Warjack by standing next to, and consuming, a wreck marker, but in his current iterarion he has the Spell Slave ability, so he can cast a spell from the Warcaster's spell list.
So far I haven't had a chance to field them in Mk.III but I'm sure I can put them to good use eventually.
Do enjoy 😃
Welcome to my modeling blog, where I share my progress and works from garage kits to gaming miniatures, and sometimes other stuff.

Red Scorpions Primaris Chaplain
Meet Brother Davkas, newest addition to my Red Scorpions.
Painting the bone parts took a disproportionate amount of time, literal days entirely spent on skulls etc. I love the model though.

Christmas incoming!
So my Forge World order for the Red Scorpions new releases has arrived the other day, and my girlfriend brought me an Imperial Knight as a gift for our first anniversary.
If that ain't someone special, I don't know what is 😍
Are you looking forward to anything special under the tree this year?

Mistakes were made...
Indeed, I just couldn't resist... 😅
I was following Forge World's news feed, eagerly awaiting anything that would announce the opening of the pre-orders for the new Red Scorpions characters, in the form of an Ancient (Sirae Karagon) and chapter master Casan Sabius, and the former Carab Culln risen as a Leviathan Dreadnought.
I ordered them today 😅
The rules for the characters are available as downloadable PDFs from the Forge World website directly, and I was a bit disappointed to find out that Karagon is nothing special, but instead just a stand-in for an ordinary Ancient, but Sabius and Culln more than make up for it.
Of course, Forge World was smart enough to include the restriction on Culln, so you can't field him in his Dreadnought form together with either of the other two "ordinary" forms 😏
Looking forward to building and painting these!
